Chaos Arcade

Check any round yourself

Every round in Chaos Arcade is decided by seeds before it is played. Paste them here and see what the round had to be. It is calculated in your browser with the same maths as the arcade's server; nothing you enter leaves this page.

The result shows here.

How it works

  1. Before you play, the arcade shows the hash of its secret server seed. You choose the client seed yourself.
  2. Every round's random numbers come from HMAC-SHA256(server seed, "client seed:nonce:cursor"), four bytes per number. The nonce counts your rounds.
  3. When you rotate your seed, the old server seed is revealed. Its hash must match the one you were shown, and every round it decided can be recalculated here.
  4. Crash, roulette and wheel rounds are shared by everyone at once: each has its own seed, hashed before the round and revealed after it.
